Chair

Nannette Jackson

Nannette is a full time counsellor, supervisor, clinical hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner working in a hospice. Her role facilitates the needs of patients, their families, staff and volunteers.  Teaching medical and non medical staff, within the hospice and in the public sector, on psychological issues in palliatice care and the use of hypnotherapy in pain control. Nannette is a supervisor of supervisors for CRUSE counselling.

Her background is working with holocaust victims and their families. Also in doctor's surgeries and the NHS's psychological department for mental health.


Vice Chair

Mark Shields

Mark is The Founder of The Life Practice Group. He is nationally respected as a successful Life Coach, Media Expert, Writer and Motivational Speaker appearing regularly in the media on TV and Radio.

He has now worked successfully with thousands of clients that include TV Presenters, World Champion Sportsman, Senior Business Leaders, Famous Musicians and Senior Government Politicians

Mark is a successful writer and national media coach.His current project is writing a book jointly with the  Complementary Alternative Medicine- CAM group " The Practitioners Success Manual, due to be launched in August 2012


Secretary

Jane Clark

Jane has been a practitioner and CAM provider for ten years. Over this time she has created a successful complementary health practice where seven practitioners offer various disciplines.  Although extremely busy, the ambience of the practice is tranquil and calm and her commitment to maintaining a gentle, friendly and totally non-clinical environment for clients belies the work that goes into progressive training and development for all practitioners so that they can always offer treatments that are up to the minute and soundly based.

Running alongside the practice Jane has a training school where students can undertake NVQ and QCF qualifications in various complementary therapies. A firm believer in integrated health care, Jane works closely with allopathic practitioners to enable greater choice for clients and patients. 

As the new Secretary for BAThH, she is looking forward to a lively, productive year ahead with her committee colleagues.

 


Training

Jean Murton

Jean Murton is the director of the Belmont Hypnotherapy Centre. UK and the trainer for the British Association of Therapeutic Hypnotists. Her school has been accredited with The National Council of Hypnotherapy UK.  Both are founder members of UKCHO an umbrella organisation for regulating Hypnotherapy. 

Jean is a member of UK guild of Hypnotists and a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming.  Her course is accredited with the International Medical & Dental USA Hypnotherapy Association


Honorary Treasurer

Stephen Green

I have run my own business, Temporarily Yours, for the past 4 years. Before then I was Head of Treasury Sales and Marketing for 14 years for a major South African bank based in London.

My hobbies are motorsport and I have been a race marshal for over 20 years and am also the National Public Relations Officer for the British Motorsport Marshals Club.

Lesley Barker

I've been a member of BAThH for eight years and the Committee member responsible for PR for the last year.  I am totally committed to raising our profile and driving forward new initiatives for our members.  

I am very excited about our new website and the plans we are formulating for the future.  We have an amazing new Committee who have lots of energy and great ideas.  I really feel it's an exciting time for all of us and I hope that you agree.  I would love to hear your views.
