I qualified as a hypnotherapist in the year 2000 and have been practising ever since. I have helped thousands of clients since 2000 to overcome phobias, anxiety, depression, addictions, to control weight, stop smoking, gain confidence, regain a positive attitude to life and get rid of those dark black clouds that can come over everyone at any time. And much more. I cannot and do not offer a panacea to all problems – no-one should ever make such an offer. Life and living never come with any guarantee of happiness but I do offer a good solution to clients, with my hypnotherapy, to be able to change to be the best that they can be. The opportunity to have good relationships in personal life and a working environment, to be more content with life whilst living with joy and seeking happiness, improved lifestyle and good health are all goals that hypnotherapy can help to achieve.

About Me:
I have been working as a Hypnotherapist for many years and have developed a style of therapy that utilises many different therapeutic approaches including NLP, CBT, Mindfulness and Metaphor within the context of hypnotherapy, this broad-based approach enables me to find the right therapy for the individual, as we cannot use a one size fits all approach to healing, our life experience will influence how we respond to the help we seek. Although we try hard to make changes ourselves, the lifetime of programming in our subconscious mind sometimes undermines our good intentions, therefore it is crucial to access the subconscious mind to achieve change, hypnotherapy gives us the opportunity to do this. I provide free audio downloads as part of the treatment to reinforce the work we do and extra downloads can be found on my website.

I am the Chair of BAThH, a Director of the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations and a Trustee of the Research Council for Complementary Medicine. I run a training school for Hypnotherapy Practitioners and have written two books: “The Healing Metaphor” and “Self-Help, Self-Hypnosis”.
